"My wife and I went to the zoo over memorial day weekend, and it was a very nice zoo. Due to the expectations we had received from others, we were expecting something very special. It is certainly a nice zoo especially if you live nearby, but it's not vastly superior to San Diego, DC, St Louis, or other major zoos. It must be noted however that while we were there a number of exhibits were closed and under renovations (big cat house, etc.). This would still be a fun trip for a family!" - a Tripadvisor user
