"My husband and I took an easy 4 1/2 hr. ride north to Ludlow Vermont for a 2 night stay at the Jackson Gore Inn. (next door to Okemo) We had heard so much about this new Inn since it opened in December '03 and wanted to see it first hand before the craze of the winter. What a gorgeous place! It's ski in/out with 1 lift right outside the back doors, an indoor/outdoor pool, workout room, beautiful lobby bar, excellent gourmet restaurant (minus gourmet prices) and a huge lobby fieldstone fireplace. Besides the Inn accommodations, people can also rent or purchase condos within the Inn. Okemo is also in the process of building another building next to the Inn with more condos for purchase. Okemo golf course is 5 minutes away and that will be on our list of must do's for the next visit before winter! We are definitely considering a possible purchase!" - a Tripadvisor user
