    "I have been to the State Park several times. It is well maintained and kept clean. The people are very friendly and helpful. One of the best Parks at the beach. You can camp and go to the beach all in one day and never leave the area. It is a must when you go to Plattsburgh, NY.. The water and beach is great to be in the sun for a while and then in the shade of your camp. The people in the are are very friendly and welcome you. The city and area has many other events expecially around July 4th. You must see the beautiful area for fishing. The area has another State Park just about nine miles south on Route 9.
