THINGS TO DO

  1. Oljato Trading Post & Museum
  2. Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
"You need a car to see many of the great vistas in Monument Valley. But horseback is the way to really experience this phenomenal place. My family booked a sunset ride with Black's Monument Valley Tour's and we had Shane as our guide. He was great. The 2 1/2 hour ride was a bit pricey but worth every penny. From the visitor’s center we drove about 20 minutes into the park on the unpaved road to meet our horses and guide. Our minivan maneuvered it just fine." - a Tripadvisor user
  3. Simpson's Trailhandler Tours
"We recommend the tour given by Simpson's Trailhandler Tours. Ask for Jamie to be your guide. He is great. He has a wonderful sense of humor and will sing and play beautiful Navajo music on his flute for you. Request to visit his 96 year old grandmother in her hogan. She will show you how she cards wool, spins, and weaves her wonderful rugs. We paid $100 for two people (private tour) for 2 1/2 hours, but actually received a generous tour of almost 4 hours. A really nice experience!" - a Tripadvisor user
