THINGS TO DO
-
Springdale - Zion National Park
"Zion%rsquos National Park is Utah%rsquos oldest National Park and one of it%rsquos most beautiful. One drawback is that it is a very heavily traveled park and has a shuttle system available to take visitors to the most popular areas. The shuttles are free and run every few minutes. If you are entering from the South Entrance, it is recommended you board a shuttle in the town of Springdale, just outside the park, or at the campgrounds, visitor center or museum. Parking is extremely limited in other areas, especially inside the park. The shuttles provide the ONLY access to marquee attractions like the Great White Throne, the Watchman, the Grotto, Angels Landing, Weeping Rock and the Temple of Sinawava. One more note is that if you are driving or towing an RV there are additional fees if you have to go through the tunnel on highway 9. Zion%rsquos Park is a Mecca for hikers and bikers alike. Lodging can be found in one of the many surrounding communities" - a Yahoo user

Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park
"The Dunes were fantastic!! I could not believe the beautiful colors! Well worth the fee and the drive down. You think that once you've seen a sand dune you've seen them all. Not So!!!!!!!!! The color ranges from yellow to beautiful shades of pink! If you have a half day or longer, do yourself a favor and go!!! We carried a lunch and ate on one of the picnic tables. Great experience!!!" - a Yahoo user

Capital Reef National Park
"One of the many National Parks in the area, if you have time to spend a day here it is well worth it. As far as I'm concerned the Spring is the best time to see Capitol Reef , everything is in bloom, the wildlife is abundant, you can't go wrong ." - a Yahoo user
