Romantic Things to Do in Santa Barbara and Attractions for Couples in California

Santa Barbara offers many romantic things to do for the weekend or vacation travelers looking for love.  From the Gainey Winery to the Museum of Natural History, Santa Barbara offers all kinds of romantic activities to suit whatever type of romantic experience you are looking for.  Spend an afternoon driving along the famous East Beach on Highway One, which overlooks the beautiful beach and classic California Coast scenery so often pictured in movies and photos.  For a walk on the wild side, visit the Santa Barbara Zoo which is not nearly as crowded as some of the other ones in California, but whose views almost outshine their wonderful collection of rare and endangered animals.  If you’ve got a long summer evening ahead of you, take some time and wander in Old Town Santa Barbara where you can shop at any of the unique specialty stores and take a ride on the Trolley or dine in one of the town’s numerous fine restaurants.  Of course, any evening in Santa Barbara should end with a romantic walk on the beach to watch the sun set.
