This town is located in the ancient Puna District under the watchful eye of the Nounou Mountain. One of the regular entertainment features of the ResortQuest Kauai Beach at Makaiwa is the Hiva Pasefika Luau on the Isle of Kauai. This fun filled evening is one of cultural and educational entertainment as you travel through the centuries of Hawaii’s history in songs and stories. This event takes place every evening, with the exception of Monday. In winter the start time is 5 P.M. and in summer the start time is 5:30 P.M. You don’t have to be a guest at the resort to take in this event and the cost is quite reasonable.
