"Ordered a dozen roses from 1300 miles away that I wanted barbed wire wraped around each rose. I upsed the barbed wire rusted) to the shop when it arrived they did a beautiful job on the roses, delivered to Deadwood and e-mail me a picture of the roses. "Spent about 2 hours looking through the Adams Museum last summer while in Deadwood. It gives you a good idea about how the people lived (and died) in this raw rowdy town. One room gives you information and history on its famous and (some infamous) citizens like Potato Creek Johnny, Jane and Bill. Another room had info on the "soiled doves". Most of it was full of books, furniture, clothing, guns, hardware and personal objects of the towns people which were very interesting. It gives you a good sense of what life was really like for these folks; which was probably extremely hard unless you were wealthy. Makes one realize that "the good old days" weren't always so good!
