THINGS TO DO

  1. Willow Creek Golf Club
"Willow Creek is professionally run and both the fairways and greens are well-maintained. It's a challenging, but fun course. Learn to play out of sand before attempting this course. Cart paths are in excellent condition and the amendities (ball washers, scorecards, clubhouse, etc.) are fine. The only downside to the course is that the pace of play often slows to a crawl and I'm not able to ascertain why. Rangers could be more assertive about moving slow players." - a Yahoo user
  2. BOB JONES UNIVERSITY MUSEUM & GALLERY
"The artwork is gorgeous and the campus is beautiful--a must see on any visit to South Carolina! The collection of religious art is the best of any college campus nationwide!" - a Yahoo user
  3. Greenville Zoo
"While I would definitely not travel any distance to see this small city zoo, it makes for a lovely afternoon out. The grounds are nice and well maintaned with wonderfuly hilly pathways. The restrooms are in generally good shape, and the staff is all incredibly friendly and helpful. It took us a little over an hour to see all the animals, and we were going at a leisurely pace. There's not a huge variety of animals, but there are: lions, an elephant, orangutans (with an adorable baby!), lemurs, alligators, a red panda, many snakes, HUGE turtles, and others. Plus, giraffes are said to be coming in the somewhat near future. You can feed a couple of the animals, but not very many: mainly just birds and monkeys. There's also a small petting zoo with farm animals, but it only consists of a few cranky goats, one Vietnamese pot belly pig, and some chickens. Overall nice, but not terribly expansive or impressive." - a Tripadvisor user
