Missoula is the center of five valleys in the northwestern part of Western Montana. If you are in Missoula for a family vacation, then you should not miss going to Mount Sentinel because it gives a great view of the entire area when you reach the top. Other notable trails include the Rattlesnake Wilderness which contrary to its name does not have any rattlesnakes at all. Meanwhile, the Marshall Mountain is perfect for the beginner.
