For an interesting and unique Bed and Breakfast Inn during your vacation at Carmel, California, check out the Tickle Pink Inn.  The ocean-view Fireplace room offers a stunning vista of the Pacific Ocean, and romantic couples are sure to enjoy the wood burning fireplaces at the foot of their beds.  We splurged on the deluxe room with spa, and loved the comfort of its king-sized bed and generously proportioned private balcony.  We were welcomed with a local cheeses and wines during the nightly evening reception.  The Tickle Pink Inn’s extensive complimentary breakfast was filled with home-made pastries and hot egg entrees, making it our favorite B&B destination in Carmel.

For luxurious resort lodging in Carmel, consider the Carmel Valley Ranch Resort.  The resort boasts its own 18-hole golf course, spa, sauna, and 400 acres of hiking, bicycling, and running trails.  We enjoyed the in-house tennis facilities, complete with a professional tennis instructor.  We enjoyed the sumptuous dining and gourmet cuisine offered right on the ranch in two unique restaurants.  Romantic couples will enjoy a relaxing massage.  The Carmel Valley Ranch deserves its “Four Star Rating” by Travel Guides.

For golfers and active travelers to Carmel, California, an escape to the Quail Lodge Resort and Golf Club offers the perfect vacation package.  We enjoyed the huge limestone fireplace in our “Fairway Villa” suite, with its generously proportioned bedroom, sitting room, and gated private entrance.  There’s three on-site dining rooms, with innovated menus and scenic views.  The immaculate golf course boasts 10 lakes and the Carmel River.
