We found this hotel to be an excellent choice because the location was great. It was next door to the train into NYC, and very near the Holland Tunnel so our driver...

The view may be worth it...
(January 20, 2007)
I was booked into the Hyatt because it was only two buildings down from the office that I was working at. That being said, reviewing a hotel that I am not personally spending my own money on may not be entirely fair, but I will try and be very objective....

My husband and I, along with our two children stayed at the Hyatt on the Hudson Aug 27 -Sept 2 and were very pleased with everything. The view of the skyline was incredible. The PATH train is literally in front of the hotel, however, no need to worry about train noise or crowds as there was none of...

Nice choice when not staying in Manhattan...
(06/03/05)
I have spent 25 nights at this Hotel on business. It is the only hotel I really recommend staying at in Jersey City, NJ. It is right on the Hudson River, and is a quick ferry ride (in summer) or Path ride across to Manhattan....

DIRECTIONS
Follow signs to take Rte 1/Rte 9 north and go about 8 miles. Continue on 12th St, then turn right on Luis Munoz Marin Blvd. Turn left on Christopher Columbus Dr, and the hotel is on the right. Getting there: The best way to reach the hotel is via shuttle van ($16?$25; fees subject to change without notice). Arrangements can be made through the concierge. A rental car is another good option. Getting around: The hotel is adjacent to both light rail (less than $5) and commuter rail (less than $5) lines into New York City. It is a few blocks away from ferry service (less than $5) into the city. The Holland Tunnel is convenient for those who choose to drive into the city; however, driving is not recommended for those unfamiliar with the area. (All fees subject to change without notice.)
