THINGS TO DO

USS Bowfin Submarine Museum Park
"I didn't know what to expect when we boarded, but I was pleasantly surprised. You get to see so much of the sub in such a short walk. My girlfriend, who isn't interested in military or history, loved it. Great for everyone to see exactly how our men live while serving on a sub." - a Tripadvisor user

Hawaii Maritime Center
"We bought a Bishop Museum family membership and you get into this museum for free. We have a family of five so the membership was actually saving us money over single admission costs for both places. This museum was almost deserted during a Friday afternoon. Go to the top of the tower if you have kids for a great view. There is an audio tour and tons of photo ops for family members. They set up parts of ships and boats that make pictures look like you were there and not in a museum. Everything from floor to cieling has an artifact worth looking at. The best part was an old sailing ship moored outside. You can venture all over it like you own it while it rolls with the ocean movement. Be sure to get hotdogs outside of the museum at the little stand. This person is a local landmark and very nice." - a Tripadvisor user

Pearl Harbor
"everyone who visits Oahu should go visit Pearl.
It is an awesome experience. I've been several
times and am moved every time I visit. A somber
reminder of how terrible war is least we forget." - a Yahoo user
