THINGS TO DO

  1. Puuhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park
"A jewel! Not to be missed when you visit the Big Island. The site is pristine, gorgeous, and well maintained.
Also, one of the finest shore dives in Hawaii. Easy entrance, wonderful fish, quick drop off to 100FT. Snorkelers will enjoy it as well." - a Yahoo user
  2. Kona Country Club
"Alright, lets be honest...this course was the site of 2 LGPA tournaments not so long ago, and in the shop displayed are two GOld Digest ratings giving them four and a half and four (out of five) stars on their two courses. You definitely cannot knock their vastly improved course conditions. I found their prices to be much more competitive than the other high end courses on island and would definitely play there again. And to be honest, I found all staff members to be perfectly cordial and professional while I was there." - a Tripadvisor user
  3. Magic Sands Beach Park Laaloa Beach Park
"This place is great. It's close to Alii Drive and therefore, not too long of a drive. It usually has awsome body surfing waves it also has a sand volleyball court. But do watch out for some big waves. If there are big waves, the rocks start to show up. It's awesome though." - a Yahoo user
