OUR TAKE ON CLEVELAND
Located in Northern Georgia, the city of Cleveland welcomes any vacationer who ventures to visit. Cleveland is home to the Babyland General Hospital, home the once popular Cabbage Patch dolls. The hospital is housed in a turn-of-the-century medical clinic and tours of this toy museum are free, adoption is optional. Cleveland is also home to the last covered bridge in White county, the Stovall Mill Covered Bridge was constructed in 1885 and deeded to the historical society in 1972, it is currently awaiting repair.
There’s an amenity for all at one of Cleveland’s accommodations; for those who crave clothing optional lodging, we suggest a stay at the Serendipity Park Nudist Resort and for the fully-clothed guests of Cleveland stay the night at Mountain Lakes Resort, which offers cozy cottages in the Chattahoochee National Forest. If romance is in the mountain air, we recommend the Town Creek Bed & Breakfast, during your stay in Cleveland. There’s plenty of food in the forest, with many local restaurants in Cleveland, it will be hard to choose just one. Cleveland, Georgia is a scenic escape the whole family will enjoy on your next vacation to the mountains.

Days Inn Cleveland
"""We went for a one night stay to visit Babyland, where Cabbage Patch dolls are made. The hotel was within walking distance. The rooms need work, although they were clean. For instance, the tub had been recaulked over moldy caulking and the caulking around the drain came up while I was showering. There is a breakfast in the mornings, but it's in the lobby with only a chair and a loveseat and a coffee table, so there's no where to sit and eat. There's a great local restaurant two doors down, though.""" - a Travelocity user

Dahlonega Courthouse Gold Museum
"We love this place, because it is a great place to learn about the history of gold in the south. We do gold panning as a hobby and we enjoyed going there. We were planning on going to Helen, and there was a hot air balloon race and a motorcycle rally that weekend, and there were NO hotel rooms in Helen, so we ended up driving until we got to Dahlonega . We liked it more than Helen, because it wasn't a tourist trap. There were actually fun AND educational things to do in Dahlonega . I recommend going there, especially if you are interested in learning about gold. There are also some great quaint little shops to look through, like the Dahlonega General Store. We will go back." - a Yahoo user
