THINGS TO DO
-
South Pointe Park
"South Pointe Park is a very nice park that allows for close-up views of the cruise ships as they pass by. Locals tell us that Sunday early evening is the best time to watch all the ships go out. There is a very nice (but pricey) restaurant called Smith and Wollensky's located there. It gets very crowded so expect to wait for a good seat. Park has plenty of parking next to it or you can get there inexpensively on the local bus. There is a large grassy area along the pathway that is popular with dog owners so if you don't like to be around lots of dogs, it could be a drawback. But they keep to their area and don't bother you if you're sitting on one of the benches along the pathway. Overall a very nice place to sit and relax with great views." - a Tripadvisor user
