THINGS TO DO

  1. South Pointe Park
"South Pointe Park is a very nice park that allows for close-up views of the cruise ships as they pass by. Locals tell us that Sunday early evening is the best time to watch all the ships go out. There is a very nice (but pricey) restaurant called Smith and Wollensky's located there. It gets very crowded so expect to wait for a good seat. Park has plenty of parking next to it or you can get there inexpensively on the local bus. There is a large grassy area along the pathway that is popular with dog owners so if you don't like to be around lots of dogs, it could be a drawback. But they keep to their area and don't bother you if you're sitting on one of the benches along the pathway. Overall a very nice place to sit and relax with great views." - a Tripadvisor user
  2. Design District
"We're now approaching 2007, and the Design District will be "The Place To Be." I can't say it will be the new South Beach, but it definitely will be attracting crowds of shoppers and celebrities. Several new studios and high end stores have been opened and are opening as we speak. Once the construction is over, you'll wonder why they didn't think of this sooner." - a Tripadvisor user
  3. Art and Culture Center of Hollywood
  1. Hollywood Beach
  2. Orangebrook Golf Country Club
  3. Parrot Jungle Island
  4. Hollywood North Beach Park
  1. Anne Kolb Nature Center
  2. Haulover Beach Park
  3. Little Havana
