Dewey Beach, Delaware Hotels, Things to do, and Vacation Information.
One of the most scenic coastlines in Delaware is the
Dewey Beach. On the east, Dewey Beach
faces the Atlantic Ocean. And on the west, there is the Rehoboth Bay. The
geographical area of Dewey Beach is relatively small. Thus, when taking Dewey
Beach vacations, the travelers don’t have to use their cars in exploring the
whole town. As the folks of Dewey Beach will immediately point out, “everything
is within walking distance.” This does not imply that Dewey Beach is a sleepy
little town. On the contrary, it is an economically thriving town that still
manages to offer rest and relaxation to its visitors. For example, there are
numerous Dewey Beach restaurants, such as the Ponos that provide Hawaiian
ambiance, the Nalu that offer a wide variety of grilled items and the Que Pasa
that prepare sumptuous Mexican breakfasts. At night, the serenity of the beach
and the freshness of the air are intertwined with the exciting undercurrents
from bars, such as the
Starboard, one
of America’s top 25 bars, according to the Men’s Journal Magazine. There are
few Dewey Beach hotels but the travelers can have their accommodations from one
of the numerous beach houses. With the growing tourism industry in Dewey Beach,
there will be more beach houses for rent in the next summer.
