Keystone, Colorado

Keystone, Colorado Hotels, Things to do, and Vacation Information.

Keystone, Colorado is a friendly town of about 825 people, whose major source of tourism is the Keystone Resort.  With seven months of ski season, four different mountains, and two mountain villages for you and the family, this is a winter vacation paradise.  In the winter months there is skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling.  The resort also has designated slow skiing areas, which are ideal for families.  You will find the accomodations not only diverse, but kid friendly and fun.  You can stay in accomodations near the children's youth zone and ski school, close to dining and entertainment, and the various lifts.  There are also luxury condominiums, or studios for families.

The resort has prepared 1 to 5 day itineraries, each one targeted specifically to families with children of various ages, which makes the family vacation an enjoyable and relaxing adventure.  Summer months also provide for many things to do.  The resort has golfing, located on an old cattle ranch, along the Snake River.  Horseback riding, hiking, and paddle boating, are also popular.  With 60 miles of trails, Keystone has the best mountain biking in the country.  If visiting in the Summer, we recommend a historic tour by bus, or an enjoyable ATV tour.  The scenic chairlifts are also an exciting way to get the know this special area.
