DIRECTIONS
What's noticeable about this location is the steep embankment in which Highway 1 road turns into a tall bridge passing over tidelands where the Pacific Ocean washes upon the sand and rocks near some camp sites. Some of the camp areas are fairly close together but the ocean, trees and beautiful scenery make this state park a worthwhile stop, even just for a picnic while passing through between San Simeon (Hearst Castle) and Carmel.
