Known as "The Home of the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker", Brinkley is located near the Cache River National Wildlife refuge where many of these ivory-billed woodpeckers can be found in its natural habitat. Brinkley is not known for its woodpeckers, however. Besides being surrounded by numerous natural attractions, there are many attractions found inside of town, complete with local dining and romantic lodging. We don't recommend taking your kids here, however, as it is too small and does not cater to younger kids.
For starters, begin your vacation by visiting the Cache River National Wildlife Refuge, located just outside of Brinkley. Take a romantic walk with a loved one during the morning, where it is still quiet and private. We also recommend visiting Brinkley City Park, complete with a tennis court and a baseball field. If your want romantic choices indoors, Brinkley has many delicious options downtown, with fresh cuisine straight from its watery shores. For private, romantic lodging in Brinkley, Brinkley hosts many vintage hotels and unique lodging accommodations to brighten your mood. Want more information?
