THINGS TO DO

  1. Shadow Mountain Country Club
  2. Cochise Stronghold
"We visited Cochise Stronghold in July 2004, and were impressed. We had planned to spend a whole day in nearby Tombstone, AZ and after finding out that it was a huge waste of time we went out looking for something else to do. We happened upon Cochise Stronghold which is actually part of the national forest there, and we loved it. Legend has it that was the last hold out spot for Cochise and he was buried somewhere on the grounds. The hiking was great and there are opportunities to rock climb and boulder as well. The views were spectacular, and it would take days to adequately explore the whole thing. Getting there is not easy as it is quite a drive off the highway, and down a long dirt road that easily floods. High clearance vehicles are recommended. A primitive camping area is available as well." - a Tripadvisor user
  3. O.K. Corral
"I didnt expect much, but was presently suprised. I was told by everyone not to go, It was a waste of money. Well you cant go to Tombstone without seeing the OK Corral. My wife and i went, It was nice. There is more to see there beside the gunfight site. They did okay with the site (not much you could do with it ) but the rest of the site was great. CS FLY , The actually corral was well worth the price. Go and see it if you come to town answer the question what do the Apaches do to women who cheat on their Husbands." - a Tripadvisor user
