LODGING

  1. Teskey's T Tumble 7 Restaurant
"The whole staff at Teskey's Motel and their Restaurant were very nice. Makes you feel right at home. The rooms were not extra fancy, but they were clean! Breakfast is served all day, which my husband took advantage of...as well as getting a Big Belly Busting Burger, half pounder, at 7am! We recommend this to people who are looking for quiet, clean, not frilly place to stay in Historic Mayer, the center of Arizona. Look around town, go to some Antique shops. Relax!" - a Yahoo user
  2. Creekside Preserve Lodge
"This place is a hoot and not too far from Pheonix but far enough that you feel like you got away. Between the excellent food and well stocked bar there is no reason to leave the premises once you arrive. And the heart shpaed hot tubs make it tough to leave the room!" - a Yahoo user
  3. Teskey's Motel
"had a non-smoking room. Historic mayer is a quaint small town" - a Tripadvisor user

THINGS TO DO

  1. Arcosanti
"While at first glance, Arcosanti is but a glimmer or a whisper of it's intention, the evening bring more to you than you could ever imagine. Dining with seventy-or-so other people chatting, and enjoying cuisine home-cooked and tenderly prepared by some of the kindest, and most interesting people in the world. This is a place for any wayward soule looking for acceptance, and a bit of laughter. The rates are reasonable, and the people are fantastic. Anybody who says anything else needs to rent a room at Wal*Mart." - a Yahoo user
  2. Prescott Lakes Golf Club
"When I moved to Arizona I knew that I wanted to join a private golf club. I played all over the area and finally found Prescott Lakes. As far as I'm concerned there are no other private courses around. The staff is great, the course is always in the best shape, and the layout is as fun as it is challenging. The ID is low right now and so are the monthly dues. I can also get a tee time within minutes of when I desire any day of the week. I have never regreted my decision to join here and encourage others to do so as well." - a Yahoo user
  3. Prescott Lakes Golf Club
"I played this course many times when it was open to the public and had to join when the club went fully private. You will not find a course with a better staff, in better condition, or one with a layout that is as fun and challenging as Prescott Lakes. There are three private courses available in the area, but as far as I'm concerned there's only this one. The ID is low right now and so are the dues and you can get a tee time within minutes of the time you want. I couldn't be happier with my decision to join and encourage others to do so as well." - a Yahoo user
